DDB

I am a fairly new student of VP and currently know DDB strategy better
than any of the other games. Are there any 10/7 or 10/6 DDB machines
in the Tunica market ? The best I have found is 9/6 DDB and only a
few of them. Bob Dancer says never to play 9/6 or lower DDB. Do any
positive expectation DDB machines ( 10/7 or 10/6 ) exist anymore ? In
Tunica or elsewhere ?

Are there any FPDW in the Tunica market that you know of ?

Thanks.

There are no positive expectation games in Tunica at all; they are
prohibited by Mississippi law. Casinos in Biloxi interpreted the law
differently than those in Tunica before the storm. They read it as no
positive expectation MACHINES, so individual games on machines could be
positive as long as the machine carried enough negative expectation
games to make the machine net negative. Those were a vanishing breed
anyway, so who knows if any positive expectation games will ever surface
in Biloxi again. But it is a fair bet that Tunica will never offer any.
There used to be some pay tables that looked like full pay (10-6 DDB,
10-7 DB, etc.), but the 250 coin payouts were shorted to 239, so they
actually came in at under 100%.

That said, there are several places in Tunica where you can get 99.73
(NSUD), 99.92 (Triple DW), and 99.92% (2 pair Joker) returns. NSUD is
found only at Fitz. The other two are offered by both Sheraton and Gold
Strike.

After getting good at Jacks or Better and Bonus Deluxe (similar to DDB),
I found NSUD quite different and my transition was a bit slow. I am
finally comfortable with it now. Learning NSUD appears to be a bullet
you just have to bite sometime. Triple Deuces is extreemly volatile and
the 2 pr Joker strategy is a lot more difficult NSUD. Learning it is my
current project.

There is ONE quarter 9-6 DDB machine on a progressive at Horseshoe that
is a good deal if that is your denomination of choice.

I have seen triple deuces but you had better have nerves of titanium and a
bankroll inherited from Croesus to play them.

Thanks! Like you, I haven't found any 10/7 or 10/6 DDB but I'll keep looking and if I find them......I will let you know . Being a new student of VP, I have ordered tons of VP materials (Dancer, Frugal, etc..) that recommend playing only such machines with over 100% return. However, I wasn't finding them anywhere in Tunica or Metropolis. I was in Vegas in July 2005 and found no such machines there either. I really like DDB vs. JOB b/c of the higher payouts on the aces and 4oak's but maybe it's time to look for some better paying games and learn those strategies . Any suggestions are appreciated ?

There's Ugly Ducks (98.91%) at Resorts, Grand ($1+), Bally's and Sam's,
if I recall accurately. Bally's has it on quarter Super Times Pay and
Spin Poker. Horseshoe has 15-10 Double Deuces (98.85%) on progressives.

After the Fitz with NSUD, what are the next best deuces (any kind)
and where are they?

Sheraton used to have triple dueces at .25 thru $5, are they still
there. Of course the variance is extremely high.

Yes, Sheraton still has them, and so does Goldstrike. Goldstrike
has them at both bars.

Yes, both Sher and GS have 3DW. I was listing lesser Deuces games
because I mentioned those in my first response and thought they were out
of consideration.
