DDB Variation - Odds?

I was at the Riviera and noticed a variation of a DDB. It was a Game
King/Maker(?) with a variety of VP games.

The DDB, at first, looked the same as I've seen, paying 9/6. Closer
examination showed that this version did not call for the "kicker"
for a high pay for 4 aces or 4 - 2/3/4's. Instead, the payout was
for "sequential". If you got 4 Aces in a row....2,000. 4- 2/3/4's
in a row was 800.

Is that worse, better or the same odds as what I assume is the
standard "four with a kicker"? I have no clue how to program
WinPoker to determine this.

This is an interesting paytable. Assuming there are no other
variations from standard DDB paytable I get a return of 100.30%. The
way I calculated this was I used an average return of 1,280 for the
quad aces and an average return of 560 on quad 2,3 and 4s. Two out of
every five quads should be "in a row" without being separated by a
card in one of the three inside positions. -JFR
