DBDJ

How much different is the strategy for Double Bonus Double Jackpot
versus Double Bonus?

I will be going to Harrah's AC and the vpfree reviewer reports that
they have the DBDJ machines. I have never played before, having
mostly played JOB or Pick'em. I have a strategy table for Double
Bonus and will be practicing online. How much different is the
strategy for DBDJ?

Thanks

To keep it simple, make the following changes from 9/6 JoB:

Hold any 3 to a royal (even if one is a 10) over a high pair or two
pair. Hold any
two to a royal (even if one is a 10) over a single high card or two
unsuited high cards. Hold ace alone over ace and an unsuited high card.
Hold a pair of aces over two pair. Hold three aces over a full house.
Hold four to an outside straight over a low pair. Hold four to an
inside straight over drawing five cards.

Thanks for the simplified advice.

Very strong summary. Frugal VP suggests this should realize 99.9% of
the game's ER.

Yes, the limit is now $4000 for each account each calendar year. I hear this change was made several months ago, but I received no written notice of this from Stations.

If you read today's Frugal Friday, you will see that the cavalier way casinos are communicating (or not communicating) with players is starting to get to me. Hey, after 22 years of this, I think I will quit handling the casinos with kid gloves!!!!
