Database Updates - Four Queens, Plaza, MGM, Bally's

4 Queens has 12 new uprights opposite the Fremont Street
center entrance change booth (behind the front bar).
They are TITO 5c/25c/50c/$1 MGMD with 9/6 JOB, 8/5 BP,
9/7 DB. I am very sorry but I can't recall what the
paytable was on the deuces.

The Double Bonus on these new machines at the Four Queens
is now 9/6 instead of 9/7. The Deuces Wild paytable is the
98.9% 15-9-4-4 version. There's another bank of eight of
these near keno with 5c/25c/50c/$1 9/6 JoB and 8/5 Bonus
Poker.

Four Queens also has 10/7 Double Bonus in both 25c and $1.
Keep in mind that if you know the strategy for 9/6 JoB but
don't know 10/7 Double Bonus, you're better off playing
10/7 DB with 9/6 JoB strategy than you are playing 9/6 JoB
with the 9/6 JoB strategy.

Play 10/7 DB with 10/7 DB strategy = 100.17%
Play 10/7 DB with 9/6 JoB strategy = 99.63%
Play 9/6 JoB with 9/6 Job strategy = 99.54%

Most-significant differences between JOB and DB involve relative
value of two pair, straights, and flushes:
In JOB, straight/flush are worth only 2.0/3.0 as much as two pair.
In DB, " 5.0/7.0 "

Due to above, when playing DB:
Hold 4-card open straight as opposed to low pair.
Hold 4-card inside straight as opposed to one high card or re-draw.
Hold 3-card straight flush as opposed to one high card.
Hold 3-card flush (with high card) as opposed to high card alone.
Hold 3-card flush as opposed to re-draw.
Due to 4 aces paying 800 in DB, usually hold:
    one ace as opposed to ace with unsuited high card.
    pair of aces as opposed to two pair or 3-card RF.
    three aces as opposed to Full house.

Bob Dancer's "Winner's Guide" series goes into considerably more
detail, and is IMO well worth reading; above changes will, however,
improve return on 10/7 DB to almost break-even.

No, they are still there...think they were changed to TITO...but
paytables not changed.
