A while back someone explained how to down load the VP casin data base
to a PDA. Could I get a repeat?
This is what I do. I have is a Dell Axim X30 pocket pc with Windows
mobile 2nd edition.
I highlight or select all of the vpFREE database and copy/paste to Excel
on the home computer.
I then edit it by eliminating blank lines, empty cells, etc. In other
words I pretty it up.
Then I connect the pocket PC to the home computer and drag the fixed
database from the home computer to the pocket pc and save it on the
storage card. The pocket pc appears as another storage device.
I have also copied the individual casino information to Word. After I
pretty it up I just drag it to the pocket pc. Each word file is for a
separate casino. I keep 42 Word files for the Las Vegas casinos and 9
for Laughlin.
I have Excel files for FPVP cross Directory, and the VP-database
I have Word files for Poker nicknames, Slot club bonus, the vpFREE
glossary, and the individual casino data.
This way, I only need to update the casino data for the casinos that we
plan to visit.

I have an IPAQ pda and incorporate a very simple and easy thing to do , i.e store individual casino's as web page files. Using IE, you open the casino link( say Boulder Station). Then do a File --> save as ---> HTML only, and point the location to your PDA's sync folder. MS active sync automatically copies it over to your PDA.
By double clicking on this file on your PDA, its perfectly readable.

The easiest way I've found is to setup a custom channel in Avantgo.
An Avantgo account is free. I use a channel size of 500K and a link
depth of 1, and specify the URL of the LV index as the summary. The
only issue I have is that I have to scroll around in the pages on my
PDA to see everything.
