Das Beer Fest

I got a mailer about the 2nd Annual Das Beer Fest on Oct.1-3 and again on Oct. 8-9. I guess that means they had this event last year. Did anyone attend? I am interested if they bring in some real German draft beers or just the usual type stuff that can be found in the casinos. They say they are going to have Oompah music. I wonder if the Dixie River Band will be playing the oomp? Last St. Patricks day they put on green hats and played some Irish music. They didn't fool me.

And then there is "Rockoberfest" October 15-17th.

According to my notes we were both in town the third week of September 2009 and then I came back for Halloween. So indeed I have no memory...of these new events. I think they do them on the riverwalk between the casinos instead of in the CB valet parking lot like for Blues & Brews.

So does your Das Beer Fest offer give you a beer pass and a Brat?

P.S. My mailer for Oct/Nov is 2x3 nights again, but I also got a $10 food coupon for October. What am I doing right? I only had $1,200 coin-in for August.
