Hi all,
I spent Thanksgiving with my hubby in Las Vegas this year and had a fabulous trip and a darn lucky one at that.
After unpacking, I left hubby in the room to set up his "sound" (He won't go anywhere without his "own" music.) I sat down at a Game King to play DDB. I got the royal on the 10th hand in clubs. This was long overdue. I've been scraping the bottom of the barrel for eight months. I went across the casino and sat down at another GK. Within 15 minutes I got a dealt royal in spades. I played nine more hands and on the 10th, holding JK of diamonds, up popped the other three for a royal. I went to another GK and after about 1/2 hour, holding 1 ace, I got the other three with a 4 for $2000.
On the morning we were to leave, hubby said, "Aren't you going to go down and gamble like you always do?" I really wanted to go home with my money but found myself nodding my head. I went to the machine I received the two royals and decided to play DB. Again I held JK of diamonds and once again, another royal.
Now for my question: What are the odds of getting 3 royals on the same machine within 48 hours?
Darn lucky but what are the odds?
Don't know what the odds are, but can't you do ANYTHING right? The last one was supposed to be in HEARTS!

I had 3 separate royals on one machine within 2 hours. First time I held 3 cards, second time I held 2. Everyone at the full bank where I was playing was mumbling under their breath. Then I tossed the draw away only to be re-dealt a royal. Took my 3K and departed before the crowd got nasty.

I once witnessed someone getting 5 individual royals on a triple play quarter machine, in the period of like 6 hours of playing it.
His name was Al, and after that happened, we changed his name and nicknamed him roy-AL . . .
