Dancer strikes again!

The number which guesses at real-world ("expected") payback is just that, a
guess. Actual return depends upon player skill, and for the shorter term,
luck.

The number which indicate max theoretical ER is, of course, simply a
mathematical calculation, and is quite accurate.

A number is available. It may or may not be a good number.

Not sure what you mean, but all supporting comments so far indicate that
theoretical ER and actual ER performance are available on the machines

Hi Brian,

The machines show minimum hold with perfect play. They also record actual history.

The "expected" return is only listed on the par sheet, a document made available to the operator of the casino. To my mind, these numbers are not terribly reliable although returns at the quarter denomination are not bad.

Also, actual return on Game Kings is recorded by pay table, not denomination. So if you have 9/6 Jacks at $1 and 5 cents you can only get the actual results for the total of the 2 denominations. (fact check: I've never checked this myself but I have been told this by 3 or 4 different slot directors, IT people, etc.)

Some say this number does not exist and some say it does. If it does, I understand it is a guess, while the actula ER is for that machine for that duration in time.
