I agree with Annie. I can't fault anyone who has put sweat and effort into finding a good play and is then reticent to share that hard won information. And in my mind, people who do criticize this decision are just jealous and frankly more than a little lazy . I agree that Bob is forthcoming with information that helps players improve their skill level. Sometimes he is remunerated for providing that information, but not always. For that effort he predominantly gets scorn from posters on this board.
Everyone criticizes Bob for trying to maximize his own play and at the same time disparage him for not helping them maximize their own play more than he already does. I have never met the man, but at face that just strikes me as inappropriate and hypocritical.
