If ever a thread should be move to FreevpFREE, this is the one.
Dirty wash should not be waved publically.

I couldn't agree more. I finally received Volume 2.4 of VPT from Dan,
located the offending passage, and sent him my response privately ---
cc'ing the administrator. If Dan or the adminstrator feel the response
should be made public, so be it. My November 8 column paraphrased Dan's
writing closely and there was no slander. I deeply hope Dan is willing
to let this drop.

I couldn't agree less, Elliott. After reading Bob's email to Dan and Dan's
email to vpFREE with the quotations, I would like to see Bob publicly (on
vpFREE) admit that he was intentionally trying to embarrass Dan (however
unlikely that is).
Regarding making the pissing match a private matter [quote: ".....by keeping
it private it makes it easier for the parties to resolve and move on."],
Dan's response should not be kept private because Bob's comments were made
publicly. The 'resolution' is making the facts clear to the people that read
Bob's public comments, not merely discussing the matter between themselves.
To those in this group who find the exchange between Dan & Bob "....very
very tiresome...." and believe that these thread(s) should be moved to
FREEvpFREE, maybe you should simply bypass emails with "Dancer & Paymar"
(and similar wording) in the subject lines. Just don't read the emails that
don't interest you. Sheesh! A such a simple solution.

You are, of course, correct Curtis. I just wonder what constructive good it was for the other 4998 members of VPFree who could have cared less who was right or wrong. I guess it could have been interesting reading for pure soap opera value, but not of much real use to most of us. But hey, maybe by the public bloodletting they were able to resolve what is apparently some long standing animosity?
Okay, I feel better now too. This Internet stuff CAN be therapeutic after all. I feel so clean now....

IMO, there are more messages posted on this group that do
no 'constructive good' than there are messages with useful information.
There are *numerous* messages like, "....I agree...." and "You're kidding,
right?" and "This pissing match should be moved to FREEvpFREE." These kinds
of messages are not much real use to most of us. But, they still post them.
I just delete those messages and go on to the next ones. It's not
really a big deal to me.
And, BTW, I couldn't care less if I am in the minority, but I *AM* very
interested in the issue between Dan & Bob....or any other similar issues.
By reading their posts, I get a better understanding of who these people are
and I can better evaluate their input into this group.

I can not think of any other thread which is more suitable than "Dancer versus Paymar" to be a subject on this
board. It should not be moved to FREEvpFREE.
As one fellow said: "maybe you should simply bypass emails with "Dancer & Paymar" >>(and similar wording) in the subject lines. Just don't read the emails that >>don't interest you. Sheesh! A such a simple solution".
