I attended the Sunday afternoon class and it was informative.
Basically Dancer went through his ranking schedule for jacks or
better hands and questioned the class as to the proper card
selection. He passed out a handout and even gave each participant a
$15 coupon that could be applied to the price of his vp books,
stategy cards or software ( I got 2 strategy cards with my freebe).
Quite generous as it was FREE.

Basically he gave the same info as presented in his strategy books
and used in the win poker software. I was hoping for a session
where Bob would just relate how he has succeeded in the video poker
arena.

Apparently this new found wisdom didn't help me in the casino where
I lost $100 playing $.25 jacks or better in approximately an hour,
zero quads zero full houses-------not pleasant. I still have a long
way to go to reach the 500 point mark for the tournament.

Basicaly the 2 to 4 sesson was basic JoB which is the foundation of all the rest of VP.
I was amazed at all the errors being made chosing the right combinations. Need to practice more.
The 5 oclock sesson was for the more advanced, I did not make that one.
Lost 50 bucks and left, chatching a huge crowd on the way home, all teenagers.
  Met VP pappy.

Ed,

I was there both Saturday and Sunday. Picked up another copy
of "Win Poker" after the class for half off. My old copy got lost.

After the class on Saturday, Brian (marksalot)and Deb, Winnie and
Fai, (vpFree posters?) myself and old VP Pappy, Bob Dancer and
Shirley, went across the street to the New Parthenon for a Greek
dinner. I offered to belly-dance on the tables, but everyone said
No! No! So I just sat there, quietly and ate my flaming Gyro and
cheese. OPA!. It was fun.

The classes were informative and will help the beginner to get a
head start on 9/6 Jacks or Better. But, like they say in
advertising, "Your results may vary."
Luck will ultimately decide wether you win or lose even playing
the game correctly. But, you have to play correctly to get into the
best possible position to be lucky.

"Changing yourself, is the same as changing your luck."

Bob and Shirley are both very nice, down-to-earth people who make
you feel very comfortable being around them. I was my usual quiet,
introspective, timid self and hardly said a word all weekend....Ya,
right. Bob took a lot of kidding from me about our bet on how many
royals will be on the board at the Greektown Tournament and always
had a quick retort.

Over the years, I've met quite a few gambling guru personalities
and have found them to be normal people just like you and me, (well,
maybe you) except that Dolores and I have never made a million
dollars in one year playing video poker, like Bob and Shirley have.
Although one year I just missed by $999,999.

Oh, yeah...I played dollar and quarter Pick'Em for about 12 hours
over the weekend and have four tickets for the tournament already,
And I won a few hundred also. All in all, a fun weekend.

I forgot to mention...we met Nick.

   TM & VP

When I first started to read VP pappy on line, I envisioned Terry as an little old drunk with a Rudolph reindeer nose, aka "Drinking at the bar" playing Pick-um.
But he sure is a cut above the average, tall slender and "Young". I'm glad for the difference.
