Dan is attacking again - MOVED TO FREEvpFREE

I don't think that the phrase "....take a shot...." is
necessarily a negative remark. Personally, I like to
"....take a shot...." myself sometimes!

Why is this statement out of line, 'regardless of whether
it is an attack or not?' If it is not an attack, what makes it
inappropriate?

It sounds to me like you are being preferential toward
Mr. Dancer.

You misread or misunderstood my post.

My post didn't make any judgement on Paymar's comments,
but chastised Dancer for making negative personal comments
in his response.

Re: Your comment "All public responses to negative
posts must be non-personal and factual."

Having messages be factual is a given. However,
asking that all messages be 'non-personal' is not.
No group can have a meaningful discussion and remain
completely non-personal. I'm sure that, if I searched the
group's archives, I would find hundreds of posts from
vpFREE members that are personal in nature. That is
how it should be.

I didn't/haven't asked that "that all messages be 'non-personal' ".
vpFREE's rules specify that all NEGATIVE posts must be
non-personal.
