Although many pitchers have a 1-0 record and 0.00 era, I believe that Aaron Heilman is the only 1-0 pitcher with both a "hold" and a 0.00 era. This Cy Young candidate garnered his first win yesterday, while getting 75% of his outs via the strikeout.
Ryan Church put some more teeth in his mvp bid by getting on base 3 times on a 2-for-4 day plus a walk. His 2 doubles in 4 official at-bats, lowered his batting average to .526 however.
