As of Sept 1 all full pay PE gone. No bonus credits for VP.
No reason to come to Canada

CW a VP wasteland!
I was at CW last night. There were eight FP .25/.50/$1 PKP upright machines available. It was hard to find a spot. I did not see any note saying when they would be taken out, and I did not ask.

There is now a note saying they will be taken out on Wednesday. People lined up on Sunday to play them and new machines were mostly empty.

I wonder what is up with their strategy or thinking at CW ? So it was just only about 4-5 months ago that they changed all the gameking machines and made the quarter and fifty cent games back to full pay pickem again and now they go and take out all these machines and replace them with brand new machines with VERY VERY BAD pay tables. I mean, I thought I saw some 7/5 JOB games on there, (96.15%), and who is going to play that, besides the clueless or non VP players ?
The solution, is to boycott and don't play anything now on the new machines. .05% x a million dollars through a pickem machine is still something back for them still, but 4 % x ZERO IN, is still ZERO !!!!!
I'll be there this Tuesday night and Wednesday, so I guess I'll play the penny machines, lose less money over-all and just go and have FUN, instead of trying to win. I was losing $200-$300 an hour on $1 full pay pickem and then went and spent $50 on the JAWS penny game for 4 hours and made $50, had FUN, and got Bonus reward credits too.
My last 4 $1 pickem trips have been a disaster there anyway when I played on the progressive Wednesday multiplier in August, so maybe if I don't go back, it will be a good move for me. It's still can be amazing on how much you can lose playing $1 pickem at 99.95% payback.

Yeah, short term variance is a b*tch. I did all four multiplier days in July and August, and am down $1,595 total. I don't even think they multiplied my credits for August, and I'm no longer getting free hotel rooms.
Time to cut off CW.

I was playing the last 8 pickem machines that were due to close at 12:01 am on Wednesday 9/9. I got on them at around 11:30pm, on Tuesday and when it hit midnight, techs showed up and watched the machines, but let us play. As people left their machines and quit, they opened them up and shut them down, one by one. Finally at around 2am, and with only 3 of us left playing, they approached us and asked if we had seen the signs saying that they were being taken out of service at midnight, and of course we said, is that today ??? lol They politely asked us to quit playing and we left the machines and they shut them down. They told us that the machines were old and needed to be replaced because of continued and ongoing power problems with them. Where they would blank out and go to a blue screen and then come back up all on their own. That happened to my machine that night and has happened to me before playing them. The new machines are all there, but very unplayable, the crowds playing were only trying to get on these old 8 machines and there were very few people playing the brand new ones.
They can always, change the paytables on the new ones to a good play, (if they want to), but I'm not going to play them now with the bad paytables that they have.
I FINALLY hit a straight flush on pickem right before they closed up the machine that I was playing on, it was a long time coming though, my only straight flush there ever !
To KLS....., go to the total rewards center and have them check for your 10 x multiplier points for August, as it should be on your account now and mine was not updated yet either. I swiped my card, one time at the kiosk and then the other 3 times, I went to the total rewards center to register. When she looked up my account, I was told that ONE time, I did not register when I played on the multiplier day, so I didn't receive 10 x points because I didn't qualify for it, I was one visit short. I told the lady, that I was positive that I did, and one time when I swiped I also went to the counter to confirm it also. There was another employee working and he had over heard me telling my story, and he told the other employee that there was a problem on one of the multiplier days, and some things didn't get registered. So she took my ID and card to the back office and talked to a supervisor and came back and said that they would do a manual adjustment to my account and it should show up in 1-2 days. That same night as I played in the casino, I stuck my card into the reader, and my point total jumped up and I saw the adjustment already. So if you think your August points are not on your card, investigate it further, there was a problem on one of the days.
