Ok, we won't. But I'll inform the Canadian Tourist office of your hospitality. It's the same here in the States. So please stay in Canada. We don't need you here in the States, Jigger.

My my boys will be boys. I was at Windsor Wednesday and there were still 8 full pay machines, but you couldn't get near them due to friends holdin machines. Don't know if I'll go back depends on the offers.

That's hilarious. I go to Detroit a couple of times a year, it's more to go visit friends in Toronto than actually play. Let me get this straight...no more bonus credits on all that 96-97% video poker which is CW's staple? And let's not forget that complimentary car search by ICE when you cross back over and tell them you were at the casino.
MCC and Greektown both have playable VP, MGM has the full pay PE on fast HD machines. So, why even think of crossing over?
This sort of idiocy reminds me of a tribal casino in California which had multiline 15-11 Deuces, then marketing decided to increase the cashback to 1%, no back end. That one lasted almost 90 days, but when it was over they cut the cb on VP to .5% and slashed all the VP to 97% on top of it (later on, they put back in some $1 Jacks and SAB).
As I'm fond of saying, the stupidity pendulum swings both ways. I guess this means that there is very little Pick'em left on the Pick'em Trail (stretching from Detroit to Windsor to Toronto to Niagara Falls to Mohegan).
The final thing you need to know is that a number of Wall Street guys I know fully expect Harrahs to go 11 by EOY. So, I can imagine the pressure being put on middle management to cut costs and eliminate loss leaders, real or imagined.

First, let me say I agree with the WS guys, if there is any justice in the world they will go Chapter 11. Harrahs vegas offers and takinig away my wife and my hosts is totally backwards when the economy is suffering and you reduce the previlages given to players who are giving increasing action. But, let me correct some misinformation. After flying back from LV to Detroit (staying at Monte Carlo where they still have hosts and treat even mid-level players like us like kings), Friday we went straight across the boarder to Ceasers Windsor for dinner and to pick up their free gift for the day (very nice Maui Jim sunglasses). I had read the post about no bonus reward credits but every VP machine I played still grants rcs, so I'm not sure which exact machine the original poster was playing, but I couldn't find it.

Just curious, if you're a mid level player, what decent VP can you play at the Monte ?

There isn't much good VP anywhere on the strip, but I do play the 9/6 JOB and the triple play in the $5 room. Other than that I play craps some high limit slots so I can get a couple dreded W2G's

Perhaps its just a case of semantics but I would consider a $5 single line and even more so, a $5 Triple Play customer much more than a mid level player.

I'd agree.
Playing JOB @ $25 - $75 a pull is higher end than 99+% of all VP players.
Just curious how many hands do you play per hour/day/trip/year??
