I like your suggestion!! I have tipped cleaning and slot
personnel in the past to watch my machine, but it seemed silly at
Arizona Charlies Boulder since it was virtually empty. It has
become a wasteland now with slowed machines and increased amounts
for points -- not to mention the crazy cashback requirements. By
the way, the woman who took my machine asked the slot person if
she should cash out. Instead of saying something like "that'd be
nice" or "I know she was here for hours," the stot person said
very definitely -- "No, You Don't Have To." To hell with AC-

It has been my experience that lots of people just think somebody

If you prop your chair up against the machine the floor people

set them back down, because they present a hazard.<BR>

So what has worked very well for me is to take the chair and
turn <BR>
it around, leave the slot card in the machine and clamp the clip
on <BR>
the end of the card string to the top of the chair. Never lost a
