Unfortunately, cruise ships have a (well deserved) reputation for
offering unplayable video poker. This has certainly been my personal
experience*, and other people have widely reported the same
observation. Any benefit that you might receive from a cruise line
slot club will be dwarfed by your expected losses on the machines.
* Years ago, Isle of Capri and Commodore cruise lines had some sort of
partnership deal with a cruise ship that sailed from New Orleans. The
Isle would send out free or nearly free cruise offers for minimal
play. The Isle of Capri on-board casino actually had some reasonable
VP games, such as 9/7/5 Double Bonus. As I recall, the casino also
served free drinks to gambling customers (a rarity for ship casinos).
A quarter VP player playing the better games could just about make up
his expected losses in free drinks ;-). But this cruise line long ago
went out of business.

Am curious though as to what which cruise lines/ships have the best
video poker and the best slot clubs?
Anyone get decent offers from the cruise ships slot clubs?
