This will never happen. Cruise ship gambling is notoriously tight,
possibly the worst legal gambling there is.

Also, the ships are sailing in international waters and thus subject
to maritime law, NOT U.S. law. (This may not be true for portions of
an Inside Passage cruise.) The gaming is therefore unregulated.
There is no guarantee the games are honest, and no recourse for the
player if he feels he's been cheated/mistreated.

Besides, going on a summer cruise to Alaska and playing video poker
is like visiting Las Vegas in the summer and going for a hike in the
desert to see all the scenery and wildlife.

I agree that you don't go on a cruise just to gamble but who said
anything about doing just that. I know I didn't. I plan on doing a
variety of activities on board ship and also on shore.

Thank you for your comments concerning cruise ship video poker;
however, the aforementioned paragraph was't neccessary.

I do a lot of things that aren't necessary; last night I had
raspberry sherbet for dessert after dinner, which strictly speaking,
wasn't necessary. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it.

The above notwithstanding, I will consider myself chided.
