Cruise info

One way to get a lot of good cruise info is to read the reviews on CruiseCritic.com. Naturally people often post to complain, but usually the reviews highlight the good and the bad. There is also information on cruise excursions.

That's a good website and the search engine works well. Searched "video poker" and got >100 hits. May 29, 2012 post said saw $5 8/6 JB on NCL but not the ship's name.
I dislike cruising but fear a cruise in my future. If I can find the ship's name would get my "travel agent" to book.

Would play that machine at 20% speed and drink a lot.
Probably, bring a book to read between deals.

We cut our $1 gambling tooth on cruise ship out of Lynn Massachusetts.
Four hours outside of state waters.
Had $1 10/7/80 DB and no W2s.
It was an hour from home ~25 years ago. Went a lot.
The trip nowadays is 30 minutes since Ted Williams Tunnel(big-dig)but alas no longer do casino ships ply mighty waters of Massachusetts Bay.

"If you have previously sailed on NCL AND played in the onboard casino, you MIGHT be eligible for a “free” cruise directly from NCL. You can find out by calling the Casinos At Sea number that you can get from the NCL website. Worst case scenario, assuming the two conditions above are true, is that you wouldn’t qualify and you’ve wasted 10 minutes. Best case, you’ll qualify for at least an inside room, and if you want something better, you’ll just have to pay for an upgrade.

It is worth a shot - if you’ve sailed and played, probably better than the1 in 47 of drawing the fifth card to a 4 card RF."
