Casinos have had this ability for a long time. A host can enter your number in their computer on a "contact list" and be flagged when and where you are in the casino.

Actually, casinos have had this capability as long as casino play
tracking, through the use of club cards, has ben available. For years
now, whenever EH has "gotten lost", he's gone to the club booth to
track me down by giving them my card number. Something to remember if
you don't care to be found! (-:

People at the slot club won't give out this information to people in general.
When my husband gets lost, I have tried..!
Maybe the slot host can find him, but they won't tell me anything.

Silverton had a promotion I chased a couple of
years ago. Whoever had the biggest coin-in one
Saturday won the top prize of $5000. I got up at 2:00
AM and started playing a $1 triple play, as I
remember. Around 8:00 AM a well dressed woman sat down
next to me and started talking to me. Turned out to be
host Bonnie Liter (she is no longer there). I was
surprised to find out that they had been tracking my
play and were even willing to tell me I was in the top
three at the moment!!
