Cove Bar on Sat

That's a great response. It made me laugh and it would be absolutely great if it was true.

Lets try to be optimistic. Maybe they are getting rid of the 1 cent
play.

We can only hope. I was there Sun-Mon, and one woman was almost
hysterical that she didn't want to play dollars, just pennies. She
apparently hit the "Deal" button in error. She was frantic, so I told
her to call an attendant [this was getting very distracting].

The attendant arrived and did something [don't know what----I'm
trying to play $1 JOB]. Anyway, she was relieved that she could now
play pennies.

BTW, her total amount in the machine was-----------$8.79

Ted

And could now continue her drinking.

All machines appear in tact with same paytables.

I second that, and also no change in points.

Speaking of penny players, one weekend night there was a young couple
tying up the machine next to me playing for pennies and drinks (sharing
a chair, of course). I was playing JoB @ $23 and hit a royal (drew to
a singleton ace). When the machine locked up the woman asked me what
was going on and I told her I hit a jackpot. She asked how much and I
said 18. She got excited and said, "Wow! I thought WE were doing
good. We're up three." When I explained that it wasn't 18 dollars,
but 18K they both almost fell out of their chair. Sadly, not literally
and continued to occupy a machine that could have otherwise been useful
to adults. -Chauncey

Funny that you say that. She was on one side of me, her husband on
the other, drinking every sort of mixed drink. He kept on telling me
how he can drink any mix of mixed drinks, she was babbling on about
the great Apple Martini she was having. They were talking around me,
just rambling on. BTW, this was in the late morning, not the evening--
----they were bragging about the 1/2 price Buffet tickets they got.
Since I was $300 into the machine, I stayed another $100, then I had
to leave. I couldn't take it anymore.

I was in VP players' hell.

Ted

Quick question-------Why $23/hand, not $25?
