coupons and upgrading compensation levels

Started only a few months ago making 2-3 day trips a month to
Peppermill. My wife and I are aiming for our first stay (due to Pepp
comps)in a few weeks.

As such I have a few questions for those more familiar with the Reno
scene.

The only coupons I know about are those I receive specifically from
Peppermill. Are there web sites, papers, etc. that you can get
various coupons? We hope to maybe spend a little time at Silver
Legacy and Atlantis (mostly at Pepp). Never been there long enough to
even check anyplace else.

How often should one check to see if they can get upgraded to another
level? After our first couple of times and never drawing the Mr.
Money challenge (so no free play) I just sent an email to Peppermill
asking how one goes about getting some free slot play since we were
up to about $100 a month each at a local Indian casino. Next thing I
know I get a call from a host and they've upped us to gold level.
Should I just wait a year to see if we qualify for being upped again
or because we've continued to go so often should I just check? I hate
to be a pain to the casino - they've been great to us so far.

I do want to thank everyone on this board. This is an awesome site.
I hope someday I can contribute something meaningful back to it.

If you have not already done so, when you get to the Peppermill, check in with the information booth and request the coupon sheet, it has some really good coupons in it, each sheet has about a calendar quarter's worth of coupons. When I got mine they told me it was really only for locals and they were a little reluctant to give it to me. Don't know about the other casino's.

Thanks Trish.

Last time I was at Peppermill I did see someone with a coupon sheet
which did not look anything like I get in mailers from Peppermill.
Perhaps that was it. They received 20 dollars on a 4 of a kind they
hit. Should have just asked them at that time how they got it. I'll
give it a try. Thanks again.
