Coupon question

There are still several "freebie" mags around that are worth looking at and picking up:

--LVM (Las Vegas Magazine)--this one will probably be in your hotel room. You can get a single copy -- in advance -- for 2.99, click here: http://www.zinio.com/singles?issn=LVM&ns=usa

--What's On! -- if LVM isn't in your hotel room, this on will be as it has TV show listings in the back. Also some coupons on line, go to: http://www.whats-on.com/ and click on coupon link on bottom right

--Today in Las Vegas -- is available here and there--look on "desk" tops--bell desks, concierge desks, etc. Also has printable coupons on line, go to: http://www.todayinlv.com/ and click on "Discount Coupons" on left

--24/7 --is available free on line, go to: http://247vegas.com/vegas_values.html or just pick up a copy if you plan on taking a cab in Las Vegas--they're in all of them.

--You can also "read" the LVRJ-Las Vegas Review Journal on line and check out their coupons.
Go to: http://www.boodle.com/cgi-bin/local.cgi?config=LVRJ or to see the ads that appear in the daily paper (and some you can print out), go to: http://www.print2webcorp.com/mkt/lvmainpub200/smedia/advertisers.aspx?K=A -- they're listed in alpha order or by categories-ie--Hotels/Resorts/Casinos

This is the majority of freebie mags that available--there might be one or two more, but many times the coupons you see in one, you'll see repeated in others. Be aware while walking on the strip that many times SOME people are handing out coupon booklets etc. Often in front of Ballys and Harrah's Carnival Court area--Harrahs will have people doing this. And often in front of Flamingo, I've gotten a coupon booklet. Also, when you check into your hotel, ask if they have any coupons that they're giving out. Harrahs usually includes a sheet of coupons good for their properties when you check in.

Hope this helps. . . .

Subject: [vpFREE] Coupon question

<<For those of us who only visit Las Vegas two or three times a year,
could you tell us what periodicals or hand outs we could pick up in
Las Vegas or before we go that would help us get coupons, etc. which
would help us reduce our expenses?>>

This came to me privately and I realized I'm a little out of the coupon loop since I am a local. I know some, of course, but does someone have a fairly extensive list that they use in this area???

Jean,

Thank you so much! A really helpful & informative post. Now I can
have my "local" friends (who are not much into the casino scene) keep
an eye out for me in advance of my visits!
