I'm headed out for a November 14-21 trip. 2 nights free at Peppermill and 2 free at Atlantis. I've always wanted to go to Wendover, even as a little kid when I saw the Wendover Will on TV. So now is the time.
I'm wondering what the best course of (maybe) getting a reduced/free room at one of the Peppermill's Wendover properties? I have never dealt with a host at Peppermill. During my 3 visits I have just gotten the postcards and called up to get the offer.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I think it depends if you're a whale or a minnow. If your daily average is Over 50K and you have a losing record , the host can/will call up and make arrangements for you. Less than that , you'll most likely get ...

If thats the case, I'd call up ....ask for the casino rate based on Reno play , and play as much as you can. After your inaugural trip, offers from Wendover will keep coming. I did that last time I was in Wendover, and the Rainbow ended up picking up everything.

Have you checked the flight information for Wendover? Do you live anywhere
close to a Wendover flight airport. I keep getting offers for free flight and
free pay, and did my first flight a few months ago. I had a great time, and the
coupon book was really worth the what they said. You can wander into the Reno
Peppermill host office and see what they have to say. Wendover Will is still
there, but has been moved and with a fresh paint job... now about a mile west of
town. I have three Wendover trips under my belt. Not much to do around there
other than the casinos.

Personally I think Wendover is a lot of fun. Everyone should do Wendover and also Laughlin at some point. I like both places they are relaxing you don't have the crowds, hassles, traffic and prices of Las Vegas to contend with.

Plus single deck BJ. I'll be at the Rainbow. Had to pay for my own room but that's OK. Made reservations right away since the other 2 Peppermill joints were sold out for the Friday/Saturday I will be there.
I'll be fine as long as they still have a restaurant, NSUD, free booze and that gaudy Peppermillish neon I so love!
