Cost to play $10,000.00 ??

Basic question. 5/7 Bonus JOB. I would guess the theoretical cost of playing $10,000 through vp would be $200. Using cost of 2% while waiting for royal, cost of 10 thousand play is $400. (2% + 2% loss+waiting = 4%) So, while waiting for royal, cost is about $100 bucks an hour? Of course, actual loss in short run like this is Am I right so far, ignoring any meager CB from the $10,000 played through?

In this case, ignoring waiting for royal cost, if house gives a $200 coupon the theoretical cost of play for first 4 hours is $0. Using $2500 an hour at $1 play to figure.

This is not an endorsement on this game. It’s just a mind exercise to insure my math skills are still up to par. I’m seeking other folks help to confirm no stupid anomaly has crept into my mind. All comments are welcome . Please be gentle if I have really missed the mark.

You all have a good day…

Sounds right to me, but of course the reality is likely to be somewhat different than the theoretical.

Regards

If you use min-cost-royal strategy for 7-5 Bonus Poker (set the royal to 1505) it costs 4.6% to hit the royal and the royal cycle is 32,633.33 . On average, you’d be playing a machine with a 4.6% hold while waiting for the royal, and if the royal paid 1505 bets, you’d expect to break even when you hit the royal, on average, meaning you’d expect to be down 1505 bets before you hit a royal, again, on average, and using min-cost-royal strategy.
