I can't blame you for not wanting to drive on LV city streets---but you're missung out on a lot of enjoyment if you were to drive the long, effortless desert drives between cities in the S. Western states--esp. at night. I just spent a few days at my sister's in Phila., where I drove around 5 hours a week ago Fri. looking for an address. I can tell you that regardless of the insurance and registration fees, the pot-holed roads, the ruts, the occasional piece of road junk flying towards your car, and the consistent run-down areas all over town, is more than enough to offset any LV increases. Even here in Lisboa, with their rarely maintained city side roads, I feel safer.
"Extra expenses - Gambling - we gamble more now."
I think that's the key point for potential relocaters. It's no secret why local casinos flourish and continue to build.
