I've seen some very old JoB machines in the stores for under $1000, but I wouldn't want one of those. Figure on $1500 for a decent upright. Might be more if you want one with the coin hopper.
Note: You will probably get partial schematics with a machine if you buy it at some place like Gambler's General Store. They leave out the page with the MPU. Play it before you buy it. The machines are very reliable except for the lights and buttons.
