Correlation Between W/L and Casino Offers?

Maybe it's time we begin to admit that the people who run casinos, the top
management, outside of a few insightful business people, are really not anyone
you'd hire to run a business for you -- or me.
Before vpFree came along, most of their dumber ideas weren't known. The
individual casino was as secretive as if it were on the planet Pluto. vpFree
changed all of that.
Now we can hear of players being told to "get lost" because they
committed the unforgivable sin of winning more than the casino management wanted them
to get. Hey dumbheads! These winners most often continue to play in your
place, if not today, then tomorrow and the day after and the week after. Guess
what. You'll probably get the those winnings back if you're patient. I
don't recall many games that have a negative House Edge.
In fact a review of my personal gaming history shows that after a whole
bunch of years, I am behind even though I had my share, or maybe more than my
share, of Royals and jackpots.. So if I happened to win with a good day in
the past, I have now managed to give a lot of it back to you.
Another evidence. I live equidistant from 3 Illinois casinos. Over the
years, I have played them about even up to a several months ago. Then, since
I hadn't played in one of them for a while, they gave me "one last chance"
to come in and enjoy the action. After that --Poof. The offers stopped. The
magnanimous concept of a free luncheon was gone.
Guess what. I played at the other 2 casinos, not in vengeance, but
because the SUPERBRAINS decided it was better to show me and get rid of me as a
customer. Meanwhile the other 2 kept me on their list, so guess where we
gravitated to.
You have to believe it's brilliant, given the likely cost of getting a
new customer to visit your premises, to keep your promotions, programs and
offers secret. That'll teach these players!
   WOW. Pretty Smart.
Well, I guess I'll go back to the places who still spell my name
correctly.

It didn't used to be this way - as a matter of fact, quite the opposite was
true. A friend of mine got insanely lucky and hit a Reversible Royal at
Palace Station on a quarter machine, for $12,500. He not only got bombarded
with
snail-mail come-ons for over a year, but he actually got phone calls from a
host there.

On the other hand, I have been in GVR for a grand total of about one hour,
and hit a quarter royal during that single visit. Never heard a peep outta
them.

Not missing a thing; it is the casinos that are missing the point.

I was recently testing a new casino to see how I liked it and what offers I
get. Had the good fortune to hit a royal.

If the offers they send are not acceptable, they will never see that royal
money again.
