I sent the original report to the powers that be, was there tonight and saw
two of them [100.9%] still there at right end of the long bank. [if the 50's
diner was still there you could stand up from the machines and see inside,
gwad I miss the 50's diner.]
I got some inside info from a porter at Sam's that people complained about
old coin droppers being removed so they put some back. He also told me the new
construction at the north west corner is a new sports book. He doesn't know
what is going in place of the old sports book.... Sheplers II? Or... a huge
poker room when dealerless tables hit Vegas? Speaking of automated poker
tables, I bet the Vegas casinos even hire displaced poker dealers from nearby
states as a goodwill gesture and a way to enslave more employees.
On the marque of Nevada Palace, "Plasma and Cash." Don't know if it means
NP is now a blood bank, blood store or what.
The new name for NP will be "Cannery East." It will have 2000 slots and 1
Bob Dancer machine with his picture on the face plate standing in front of a
60's single wide mobile home.
In my hood near Boulder and Indios the Daily Weekly place now has a sign
"Apartment Homes, Monthly Rates" Below that sign a smaller sign, "If you lived
here you'd be home now and the cops would be here too." That might mean all us
in the hood will get to know the ho.... opps I mean Horizontal Sidewalk
Hostesses and their pim... opps... Business Managers&Medicinal Distributors up
