Considering tips in strategies

My opinion is it is ridiculous to tip 5% on a handpay.

For example, modifying the 9/6 JOB paytable to allow for a 5% tip on
handpays for a $.25 machine only necessitates changing the royal payout from 4000 to
3980, and probably doesn't affect the strategy much. But for a $10 machine,
everything down to the 4-of-akind payout must be modified. While 9/6 JOB
doesn't have many penalty card situations to begin with, other games like 10/7
DB would possibly be greatly affected.

Any opinions on this?

Yes, but if you think that 5% of 4000 coins is 20 coins, then it only
costs you $5.00 on a $0.25 machine. (just couldn't resist...)

ERROR!
I think 5% of 4000 is 200 coins

which is a $50 tip on a $1000 handpay -
Check the vpFree Tipping poll - most players tip about 1.5%-2%

The operative word here is "opinion". We all have our own ideas about
tipping under any situation. People should check out the VPFREE poll
for other opinions about tipping, and then make up their own minds.

Of course, this is only my opinion. LOL.
