congratulations Brad and Jean & similar tournaments

Congratulations on the great win. If I'd been playing I would have lost
$40,000 during play and then come in near the bottom of the heap on the
tournament. I'm not lucky in tournaments at all!

Caesars is having another such tournament with 100 players and top prize of
$250,000 for $5000 entry fee (I think it is this week or the next). You need
67,500 base credits to pay for the entry fee I think. Rio had or will have
something like this too. This one is $100,000 top prize and 50 players. So
seems like Harrah's is trying various ones.

Jean - I'm curious - what sort of gift did they give you?

I'm assuming that the rules did allow a group to play as one, including
everyone playing on one person's card, since you wrote all about it?

That is the Half-Million Invitational Tournament the weekend of July 21. Exactly half for everything as the Million Dollar one. 1/2 the entry fee; one half the play needed to get entry fee back; 1/2 for the top prizes. 100 players, rather than 75. Caesars executive said at our award dinner that they will have a one-and-a-half million one in Sept. but we don't have the details yet.
