Bottom Line is there's not much leeway in the world of VP on how to
play the game. So to have an alternate viewpoint is much more
entertaining to my mind anyhow. my 2 cents. >>

Dear Mark ---- my ---words,

I happened on your post and want to give you a few words of encouragement.
This is, of course, a forum, where correct technical play of the "advantage"
games is the "start" to hopefully a successful session.

For those of us that now and again wish to "take a shot" or make a play ("the
devil made me do it') outside the above parameter, that is our right and
choice.

I rarely deviate but the few times I have and fell into some unexpected win,
to me, was a laughable situation compared to the rigor I usually maintain to
correct play. It has always been understood that those of you coming here for
vacations will play lesser games for the comp status at the Strip Properties.

RS first came on the scene touting a negative progressive betting style a
variety of many that I have seen used for years. In these cases, it is of
little consequence which game (table or video) that one uses to play
the "system". Many gamblers with a large bankroll and the guts to put it out
there have done very well with their pseudo doublina systems.

The conflict starts when one view does not coincide with the consensus of
that particular site. Why someone would want to challenge a differing view
when it is clear that the originator knows this is a deviation but wants to add
it to his personal profile. Maybe others don't want the "newbies" to be
confused that it is correct strategy.

Don't be bothered by such a small thing. Many of us scan the posts and I
only read those whose title or author have meaning for me. I maintain that
there is room on this site for all views and if some seem "way out there" to
the norm, the delete button is always so handy.
