Comps Received at Venetian

Misscraps:
Your personal guess is correct. The hosts at the Venetian CAN comp spa
treatments. But, you do not need to be a whale to receive such comps.
I am not a whale. But, I have receive many comps for massages at Venetian.
I have also received comps to many of the restaurants at the Venetian,
regardless of whether they are owned by the Venetian or not. And, I have
even received comps for shows and concerts (including corresponding limo
rides) at other hotels, just by asking.

Note - I was told specifically by Venetian host they can't comp spa
charges
because they don't own salon.

However, my personal guess is that if your play is high enough, eventually
at some point they will comp your spa treatments even if they don't
normally do
that. I'm sure Whales get spa treatments!

Just left the Venetian, my first stay. Stayed on a promotion, so
rooms were free. While playing a host came up and introduced
herself to me - albeit on my last day. She told me I was a very
good player and if I needed anything, I should just charge it to my
room and she'd take care of it. Already had plans for dinner that
night, so I booked a message at Canyon Ranch. Charged it to the
room. Tried to call her to comp it, but she was off so I left a
voice mail and checked out with the charge to my credit card. Got a
voice mail back from her saying that she couldn't comp the spa
because they didn't own it, but that they do make exceptions for 50k
players. I was probably about a 35k player. She told me that I
should've eaten in one of their many restaurants and it would not
have been a problem.
