I would continue to ask and try to find a host to hook up with. In April, for the same play, I had all meals including (2) gourmet meals for (4) plus (4) Mystiere tickets comped at one MGM property while the other property did not comp $1 over the marketing offer. They told me I was over comped at the first property.

<<Last trip, as with most of my 3 trips per year, I had $84,000 coin in
(playing VP) for a 3 night stay. Usually my F&B bill is $300-$400.
Can't seem to get my host, no matter which MGM Mirage property I stay, to
comp. room food and very limited beverage up front (room and transport is
comp'd). They will usually credit my account $100 after they review my
play(?), but that's it. I have heard just about every excuse immaginable.
With this level of play am I asking too much for them to comp the $300
total? I just don't know! I am a very polite and easy going person with the
casino staff. Just need some thoughts as to how hard I should push or not
push.>>
I don't think pushing is necessary. Simply asking a host to take a look at
the bill at the end of the trip should get you all you've earned.
MGM-Mirage properties cut the comp rate on most video poker by about 2/3
over the last couple years. With $84,000 coin in you aren't even earning
enough to cover your room, so if they give you $100 in food that's generous.
