Got a postcard in the mail today, offering up to two nights free for
most nights this summer. But beware that many nights are
already full. Includes $25 in free slot play. Offer is called Reward
B.
This must be based on my earlier play at Sunset Station and
Green Valley Ranch.
I think I'm going to cancel my June 26-29 reservation at South
Coast and opt for 1 night at Main Street (Red Rock was full) and
next two nights at Red Rock. Hoping MSS will be kind enough to
give me a one-night comp.
BTW:
- Front desk person at Red Rock (on phone) told me that they
hold $150 *per night* on your credit card for incidentals, which is
different from policies I've experienced at other hotels, like
Sunset. They DID say they would take that amount in cash at
check in if you want (same as I've experienced at Sunset,
although there it was $50 cash for the whole stay).
- Reservations agent told me the much-maligned "resort fee" of
$20 per night would not be charged if I'm there on the free room
offer.
- Agent says he reserved a Pool and Canyon view room for me.
Looking forward to experiencing that pool area....
