It is A normal way of doing business in Las Vegas. Some clubs will tell you
exactly what's in your comp account, some won't. Darned if I can figure out
why or what difference it could make to them.

I think the Casino logic is something like this...
If we tell the public what they have coming to them they will
1. Use it.
2. Stop playing once they reach a target.
If we don't tell them they will
1. Not use all their comps.
2. You can't hit a target that is unknown, so you will play longer if you don't know.
Brilliant in concept, fun for the staff to dance around, and keeps the client confused at all times.
Not keep the client happy, but that is not the objective, the objective is to keep the people playing.
