Competition? Be My Guest

Competition for the 2 Super Times Pay at Caesars? Go right ahead.

I lost $1000 on the left of those two machines, which is the
equivalent of a 25c royal. I seldom saw the multiplier and had only a
few 4-of-a-kinds in all that play. So, not only did I not hit the
monumental royal with the 10X, I didn't even play all that long.

With progressives at a certain level, competition is mathematically
obvious. As for the other machines in the casino, use common sense.
Playing six coins per hand seriously depletes every return on the STP
paytable if that multiplier takes a siesta.

The frequency of the bonus round doesn't doesn't bug me. What kills me is
whiffing every time the bonus comes up. If you aren't hitting on bonuses
that 6th coin every hand just chews you up. I don't know where the
gunfighter got his figure of .55 of return attributable to royals hit in the
bonus, but if accurate it sounds like a lot of ER for something that occurs
so infrequently.
