If you had an easy sure fire way to make big money would you tell the
general public about it?"

I think this a bit of an unfair comparison and does not do justice to
Bob Dancer. I am just an ordinary vp player. I make 2 to 4 trips to
Las Vegas each year and will be moving there in a few months. I have
personally benefited, as I'm sure many members of this board have,
from the generosity of his sharing his knowledge and experience as
broadly with the public as he has. That he has been able to earn a
good living at it is a testament to his skill, patience and
willingness to work hard. No one should begrudge him that. I consider
myself to be a fairly skilled player of 10/7 DB and KOB Joker, the two
games I play almost exclusively. I derive great enjoyment from that
play and my interest in Video Poker in general. It took me four years
of practice and play to learn those games. The contribution of Bob
Dancer, Dean Zamzow and others willing to share their knowledge to my
enjoyment of the game is unquestionable and much appreciated. I am a
quarter player. On my last trip to Las Vegas I hit three Royals, two
of them progressives, for a total of $4040. You bet I'm appreciative!

Also extremely lucky I might add.

regarding Dancer's gambling career:

That he has been able to earn a

willingness to work hard.

According to his depiction in "Million Dollar Video Poker", he got
extraordinarily lucky, not only in his play, but in his choice of
partner Shirley.

I WISH I made more money writing than I do gambling!
