Comp room and air packages

At Christmas dinner someone was telling how he gets offers of 2 room
nights and air fare for $150 from Mandalay Bay and NYNY. This is from
San Francisco. He claims he doesn't gamble much. Has anyone heard of
offers like these? I can't ask this person for more info since he is
a friend of a friend and likely won't run into him again.

-Why not check Sunday papers? Also could call hotels. If that's $150
per person I wonder if you might be able to do better? Fly on your own
and call hotel for gambling deals or check paper for hotel deals.

Just a few thoughts. i'm out of the east so we look for different deals
from here.

Cheers.....Jeep..

These are probably e-mail offers from MGM/Mirage Vacations. I signed up
on a guestbook/drawing deal, and I get "offers" from them about every
two weeks. No play is necessary, and they run vacation packages from
all over the states, and at all the MGM/Mirage properties. The last
offer I found was Dec. 13th, and they had an offer for NYNY for 2
nights from San Jose at $234 EACH (double occupancy). I did not have a
cocktail in my hand at your party, but I know how some of these stories
and offers get better after 2 cocktails and a pretty girl close by. If
you are interested in these offers, sign the gurest book, and they will
come.

I believe it is the standard Mandalay bay offer from marketing that I
get in their emails to California residents to members of their
players club. I would call marketing or get ahold of one of the
casino hosts listed in the database and just ask to be sent one of
these offers. I will forward the next one I get to you.
