Comp Question

INt his week's LVA colum-Jean Scott wrote:

Just use your slot points or table-game points at the booth to get your
meals, use a coupon, or pay the small bill yourself.

How do you go about using your "points" at a restaurant? Do you present your
card to the host before seating or give it to the wait staff after finishing
the meal? Also, how do I know how many "points" are needed for a meal at a
certain restaurant? Just wondering...

There are about as many answers to this question as there are casinos! You have to ask at the slot club booth if you don't know. Sometimes you can just swipe your card (Stations ) or show it (Palms +Coasts) as you pay for a buffet, for example. Sometimes you give your card to the server at the time you would ordinarily pay your bill (Ellis Island). Sometimes you have to go get a comp slip at the slot club booth (Caesars) or from your host. Sometimes you can get a comp slip from a kiosk (Caesars and Stations). Sometimes the method varies even in one casino, depending on which restaurant you choose.

Another reason why nothing about a casino or a slot club is simple!!!!
