Combining 2 good plays together

Realizing that this is a video poker group, I hope that this post will not be laughed at. My trips to Vegas now are much more limited due many reasons. One of the main things about such a trip is to have fun with the games as well. Thus, how about going when there is a buy in Keno Tournament. Before the positive value purists laugh me off please read the following.

Buy in to tourney $500
Expected return $375 (based on 25% hold, some tickets better, some worse)
Prize money $10,000 divided by average 100 entries = $100
Free small gift -about $25 value
Free meals - about$50 value

rooms - free or 50% off for tourney participants.

Now if you take a casino with good VP and that has these type of Keno Tournaments
such as The Orleans or The Cal I feel you have the best of both worlds. If u put value to the comps then I feel you actually come out ahead. And of course, the slot club and free play offers help a lot, too.

I am asking this as I would be appreciative of any info on these type of Keno tournaments.. BTW The Orleans also runs VP tournaments and once in a while so does the Cal.. thanks

I believe Stanford Wong wrote about how to gain an edge in keno tournaments in his book "Casino Tournament Strategy."
