. Like you, my offers are for either
place, but it is strange that they still require different cards for
the CB and EW. My card is just for the Belle.

IMO, I think they kept the cards seperate because the One Club was totally
screwed-up from Mandalay Resort Group days. Their database on player's info was
totally compromised in accuracy.

Once upon a time there were 10 different casinos that were under the One Club
umbrella under MRG. We had Vegas, Reno, Tunica and Laughlin. I had
seperate EW and CB cards before the One Club showed-up. My Mom had old slot club
numbers that were right next to mine. When the One Club kicked-in we got linked
together for some reason based on the old slot card system. We never had the
same zip code, but did live in the same town. Mail went to one of us with
both names listed. I finally gave up with the EW host office to sort it out.

I think Marnell does not want to burn up resources to untangle the mess. How
about if they wait until the M Casino slot club debutes on the far south
Strip in Vegas and then they invite in the Laughlinites? Just a theory.

Your information is probably meaningful too. I am just going by
what the GM of both casinos said to me last spring when I happened
to be in his golf group. After about 5 hours of golf, I usually get
comfortable enough to start asking questions. I specifically and
politely complained about this relationship. I wanted to use some
of the Edgewater's restaurants. I thought the Belle had better
video poker play for my interest. The possibility of selling the
two properties separate was the only explanation that he gave.
Mr. Jacks did say that if it was his choice, this is not how he
would run the two casinos.
