are there any left in vegas? help me please
coins in coins out machines
I'm sure there are plenty ofother examples but I recall
seeing these at Tropicana and Slot-o-fun. Seems like
the ROI on TITO is so great only dumps that are milking
their cash flow wouldn't make the upgrade.

Two weekends ago I heard a bunch of coins dropping in Binion's (see
the "dumps milking" comment below). The smartypants I was traveling
with said, "What's that noise?" I guess he's never heard that sound at
Bellagio.

The California has a bunch of them in 9/6 JOB. Upstairs near the
restrooms there are two banks plus a number of them scattered around
downstairs. The reason they are still there is not because the Cal is
too cheap to replace them but because they are little gold mines. The
two banks upstairs rarely have a vacant seat.
These machines are old, slow, and many have blurry or dark monitors.
Combined with a change person pushing a change cart around they are a
step back into the 1980s.
The loyal players who play them swear they pay off better than the
new machines. You will never convince them they have better results
because they are playing less hands per hour on a negative
expectation game.
If you want to play these machines be aware that some restrictions
apply. In addition to having blue hair you must have turned at least
eighty-seven on your last birthday and smoke no less than three packs
of cigarettes per day.

I played some FPJW at the Las Vegas Club. The chairs can't be moved
and playing the machines were killing my back. I think next time I
play these machines, I will wear a weight lifting belt for my back.

The dumps that come to mind are the Plaza, Las Vegas Club and Binions.
No, I take that back...partially...yes they are "dumps" compared to
other porperties...but sometimes dumps can be gold mines (well, maybe
only silver mines). Of the three mentioned, only the Plaza has nothing
to offer the AP. Las Vegas Club has a few positive games as does
Binions, but only at the $.25 level for Binions.
The coin droppers really cut down on your hands played per hour...

Sams Town upstairs, MSS treasure chest machines, same with Fremont and California, Also add the New Frontier, and El Cortez. Basically a lot of your older casinos have coin droppers.

Which is why you have to find 2 next to each other and play both.
There is one set of FPJW at the Las Vegas Club. Of course, the seats
are locked in, ...

I couldn't decide which post to reply to, so I chose both.
