Coin Casinos Left? Sep15,2004

Just wondering,
Are there any casinos left in Las Vegas or other areas that still
have coin (non-ticket) slot machines?

In my experience most casinos still have some coin machines. It is
not a 100% conversion all at once. When we were last in the V in Las
Vegas (December) they had no ticket machines at all.

In the Kansas City area, the remodeled (new) Argosy opened with 100%
TITO machines. Unfortunately there were no full pay VP among them.
The other three in KC have a mixture.

I was in the Rampart Casino today (watching football), and my wife
handed me a bucket of nickels! Even the Rampart casino, which is
fairly new, has a few coin machines left. To get to "coin heaven"
visit one of the four Spokane Indian casinos (such as the Chewelah
Casino in Chewelah, Washington). Every machine spills coins ... no
exceptions.
