I always wondered how much the value of a 125 COD is worth in NSUD. I
know in JoB it is worth about 0.45 - 0.5% (less for low cards and more
for high cards). In NSUD I am guessing the COD is worth less since it
only applies to non-wild quads (and in the case of EI 5-of-a-kinds which
contain a natural quad with a deuce). In NSUD it would seem that natural
quads are less frequent because you are often holding pairs with deuces.
Does anyone know how to calculate the exact value? Is the greatest EV
achieved when the COD is two?

you can take bonus poker and enter the 9/6 paytable and that gives you
the cycle times for high and low cards:
high card cycle = 5111
125 high card cod = 125/5/5111= 0.49%
low card cycle = 5695
125 low card cod = 125/5/5695 = 0.44%

for deuces, you can take deuces deluxe and enter the nsu paytable and
that gives the cycle time for natural quads:
644 for any of 12 natural quads, 644 x 12 = 7728 for any individual
quad, so:
125 cod = 125/5/7728 = 0.32%
if the cod was the deuce, the deuces cycle is 5356, so:
125 deuce cod = 125/5/5356 = 0.47%

i can't think of an easy way to figure the value of 1 deuce 5 of a
kinds if they are valid for the cod

frugal vp has super bonus deuces which features the single deuce 5 of
a kind, so you can modify the paytable to match nsu and you get the
cycle time for single deuce 5 kinds = 3039, there are 12 types, so
individual cycle is 3039x12=36468

so, single deuce 5 kind contribution to 125 cod is:
125/5/36468= 0.07%

9/6 job + 125 low card cod=
99.54+0.44=99.98%

9/6 job + 125 high card cod=
99.54+0.49=100.03%

nsu + 125 cod (good on 1 deuce 5 kinds)=
99.73+0.32+0.07=100.12%

(nsu variance is greater than job, so if you want action go with nsu,
if you are risk averse and want to limit downside go with job)
