COD style promos on Deuces Games

Card of the Day (COD) style promotions still can be found in Laughlin. Hit a designated quad and you get a bonus, if playing max coins and playing on your slot card.

But any Wild Card game, for some reason, has been excluded for joints on the river. The Pioneer rolled out a promotion for the Sassy Sue's Saloon for their 11 quarter coin-clunking Bally Gamemakers that goes against the grain, allowing Triple Deuces (99.9%) to qualify.

I use a frequency of 1/423 for a random quad on a Jacks or Better style game to ballpark a 100 coin bonus at .36%. In looking around the vast resources on the vpFREE links I could not stumble upon the value of a COD for a wildcard game. I don't think Winpoker can help me either.

A question is what does "Natural Four of a Kind" really mean on a Deuces Wild game? Can the natural quad have a deuce kicker or not?

So what is the ballpark frequency for Deuces games broken down into "save one of the pairs (FPDW/Triple Deuces)" or "save both pairs (NSUD)" for a random quad?

I believe Frugal Video Poker has the ability to distinguish between natural four of a kinds on wild card games.

Absolutely. Before making an adjustment to add in natural quads that are part of 5K wins, the NSUD natural quad cycle is 644 hands; the FPDW cycle is 599 hands.

Thanks Frank K. for pointing out that FVP can pull out Natural Quads on Deuces style games.

Thanks Harry P. for plugging in the changes on FVP to give the frequency of Natural Quads on Deuces style games. Also thanks for realizing that Dean Zamzow's Winpoker (optimized with Tom Ski's help) is my only VP analyzer available to me.

The remaining question is if a Five of a Kind with one Deuce qualifies for the Bonus payoff on the Bally Gamemakers in Sassy Sue's Saloon bartops in the Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall on the Colorado River in Laughlin. That will take some on-site research to answer this unknown.

The promotion is called "Beat the Deck" with details on the Pioneer website or the Laughlin Entertainer weekly magazine website. It is a low roller quarter play, which I am one.

BS ... don't overlook Ms_vpFREE's excellent comments in reply to you. If I recall correctly, the Dancer article to which she links cites the 5K w/ 1D as contributing .05% in the COD example he cites.
