Coasts losing business

I was at the Suncoast last Saturday night to get my birthday points. At
10:30 pm the place was packed. About half the former FPDW, now NSU
machines had players. I wanted to yell in their ears, "YOU'RE LOSING AN
EXTRA $6.50 PER HOUR." Then I went to the Gold Coast for the birthday
thing (didn't see 2500 points go on my card with first point so I left) ,
very few people in attendance there. I imagine the packed Suncoast could
be attributed to the exploding population growth on the far west side of
town.

Or, as I fear, a general herd-like complacency to the available games.
I can see a good many players staying because it's a damned nice place.

Charlie and I just got back from Vegas and one of the places we stayed at
was indeed the Suncoast. I know they took out the fpdw but they still have
reasonable triple play and 5 play. Plus, they give me rooms and food.
That, plus cashback, makes it a positive play. Over 100%. The rooms are
great. I love multiline machines. What's not to like here? For mid
roller visitors, it's a great place to stay... I agree it might be
different for locals.
