Coast vs Stations Casinos

As one of the less than "fittest," I certainly didn't enjoy reading Bob Dancer's predictions. We're already playing so far off the strip that the only time I see it is when we change casinos; we get half points wherever we go; Texas Station told me they won't comp us any more except with special marketing offers and offers in general seem to get worse and worse; I can't keep my wife on +EV games when she sees something exciting; and with fewer multi-point days, I find I have to cut way back on the free drinks. First Michael Gaughan takes the FPDW out of the Barbary Coast, then the Hilton takes out AA, and now Mr. Dancer says things are going to get worse.

Without the illusion that they can win, where will the folks that were supposed to fill all the new towers go? Those signs that say "100%+" are a lot more attractive than the certain knowledge that every single machine will take the gambler's money. Without the lure of a handful of positive EV games what will take people to casinos off the strip. We've already quit going to Tunica; are we going to end up playing AA in the wheat fields of Kansas? Please Bob, say it ain't so.

I promise you won't be playing AA in the wheat fields of Kansas.
Prarie Band took those machines out about two months ago.

To be specific, they only removed the $ machines you are interested
in. The quarter machines still remain intact and were played by me
this weekend.
