How do you figure 18 months? On the back of each $50 card it says they
will charge a monthly $2.50 fee begining on the 7th month after purchase.
Coast apparently purchased them in May 2005. In 18 months each $50 card
will only be worth about $25.
My "glass is still half-full". The info in fine print gives me now only 7
months to spend my $350 in gift cards gained from $280 in Coast points. Somehow
, even with frugal shopping, I think I can make that deadline. Anything I
spend over the given $280 is still gravy. Groceries and gas are non-luxury
items where one usually has to use cash money from pocket. This redemption was
purely a method to stretch your already existing monies into more buying power.
Take it or leave it depending on your circumstances.
