coast mailer...

The Coast mailers have always been based on coin-in, not on points, which
were coin-out. So my "good guess" is the mailers will still be based on coin-in.
Whether they modify the level requirements remains to be seen.

Whatever they are based on, since the Boyd takeover it is very
difficult to collect InstantCredits. A couple of months ago I tried
to collect a $100 InstantCredits at Suncoast on the last day of an
offer. The computers were "down" and I was unable to collect. The
boothlings said there was nothing they could do. For the last two
days I have tried to collect $50 InstantCredits at Gold Coast. Both
days the computers were working and point totals were showing on the
card readers but my InstantCredits were not showing. I was told
there was a problem with the central server not downloading many
player's InstantCredits. Even though I protested it was my second
trip to try to collect on the offer, the boothling said it was not
their problem (agreed it was my problem) and there was nothing they
could do about it. "Try again later". Prior to the Boyd takeover,
whenever there was a problem with InstantCredits showing, the
boothlings would manually put them on the card. No more.

Just for the record -- Boyd took over several years ago, long before Instant Credits. The only change is that they are combining Players' Club cards across all LV properties (and doing a very bad job of it IMO).
